Supporting the Participation of Women

In formulating and implementing our policies, we will take into account the gender perspective, and will strive to enhance the participation of women in the work of government advisory and statutory bodies. We are gradually introducing the use of the Gender Mainstreaming Checklist in different policy areas. The Women's Commission is moving in close step with the international community in realising women's due status, rights and opportunities in all aspects of life. We will continue to work hard to create an enabling environment for women in Hong Kong to realise their potential.
