The Chief Executive in his Policy Address 2000 has outlined policy objectives and initiatives for the coming year, responding to the people's aspirations.
The Government is committed to improving education. More job opportunities will be created to enable the very poor and needy to help themselves. The Government will also consider enhancing the accountability of principal officials and strengthening the relationship between the executive and the legislature.
Together, we will make this World City a more caring and harmonious place to live and to work.
